2008 Mountain Goat Whiskeytown Racer
This one was to be for Darrell but it received the
regular drop outs instead of the Paragon sliders so we just kept it as a
"spec" bike and built it up. This one was built long and low with
the top tube from a 21" frame but with a lower standover height. I
took the frame down to the local powder coat place and just rifled
through the books until I found this lime metallic over black base
color. It pays homage to some of the mid 1990's "bass boat"
Schwinn bikes. It is very difficult to get good pictures of this
frame but it really comes alive in the sun. We built her up with
some parts that we had around the shop with an eye towards making it
very functional but with an eye towards affordability. We are able
to offer this complete bike for $2,499.99 which gives you the custom
color and complete bike built for just $1,000 over the price of a bare
frame!
