Interested in trying out a new style of riding before buying? Visiting our wonderful city and want to explore our beautiful terrain on two wheels? We offer road, mountain and hybrid bikes for adults. All of our rentals include a helmet and the best insider information on local riding spots that you'll find anywhere. We also have all of the gear that you may need for a fantastic ride, including nutrition and hydration solutions.

Reserve Your Bike

While we do accept walk-ins, contacting us ahead of time to make your reservation is the best way to ensure that we have a bike ready for you in the correct size and style as soon as you arrive at our shop.

Customer is liable for damage to the bike during the rental period. A $50 cleaning fee will be applied to bikes returned excessively dirty as determined by staff. 

Basically, bring it back in the shape you'd want your own stuff returned to you. 

 

Call for availability and to reserve your bike! We will not hold rentals without a nonrefundable deposit.

CONDITIONS OF DEMO

Wherever used herein, the term “equipment” shall include any demoed from First Flight Bicycles.

The customer understands and agrees that the equipment described in this contract remains the property of First Flight Bicycles and that the failure by the customer to return said equipment to First Flight Bicycles within the time provided in this contract may constitute a crime and subject the customer to criminal prosecution.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS: Customer agrees they will return the equipment in the same good condition as when received, ordinary wear and tear accepted, and to repair and replace lost or stolen,damaged or broken parts or to reimburse First Flight Bicycles for said equipment. Therefore regardless of the party at fault, customer understands and agrees to be responsible for the damage to said equipment. A $50 cleaning fee will be applied to any bike returned excessively dirty as determined by staff. 

SUBLEASING PROHIBITED: Customer understands and agrees that any subleasing or reletting of demo equipment is prohibited and that any such sublease or reletting shall immediately cause termination and cancellation of this contract.

CUSTOMER LIABILITY: Customer shall assume liability for any and all damage or loss to personal property, accident/injury to other persons related to said demo equipment.

TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT: Customer agrees that First Flight Bicycles has the right to terminate this agreement at any time and retake possessions of said equipment and for said purpose First Flight Bicycles may enter upon the premises of the customer without becoming liable for trespass.

DEPOSIT: To demo, we require a damage deposit in the form of credit card charge plus the driver's license of one member of the party. Any deposit given by the customer shall be applied to and guarantee the faithful performance of all the previsions of this agreement and all repairs necessary to said equipment. If any action is brought to enforce any of the terms of conditions of this agreement, or to recover any sums due to hereunder, customer agrees to pay all attorney fees, court costs, or other expenses.

LATE RETURN FEE: An additional Daily demo fee will be charged for each day customer keeps equipment after the return date specified on this contract. All equipment must be returned directly to First Flight Bicycles.

  • I AGREE TO NOT RIDE OR USE DEMO EQUIPMENT IN ANY LAKE OR RIVER
  • I AGREE TO NOT CHANGE OR SUBSTITUE ANY PARTS OF THE BIKE
  • I AGREE TO NOT RIDE ON TRAILS THAT ARE CLOSED OR TO TRESPASS ON POSTED LAND.
  • I AGREE TO NOT TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA WITH DEMO EQUIPMENT.
  • I UNDERSTAND THAT THE DEMO AMOUNT PAID (minus any fees) MAY BE APPLIED TO ANY BIKE PURCHASE MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER RETURN

 

I ACKNOWLEDGE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SAFETY OF MY GROUP AND AGREE THAT ALL MEMBERS WILL RIDE SAFELY AND RESPONSIBLY. I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING ALL EQUIPMENT LISTED BELOW AND THE COST OF A NY LOST OR REPAIRED GEAR WILL BE CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD.

FINALLY, I AGREE TO COMPLY WITH ALL CONDITIONS OUTLINED IN THIS CONTRACT.
